BU002 New! Added 3/24/07 M&M 409 - Fayetteville Arsenal - Rifled Musket Nose Cast Plug Cavity CSA. Personally dug by Tom in Spotsylvania. $15.00
BU005 Ultra rare backward 3 basemarked Enfield bullet. I personally recovered this bullet near Richmond, VA. In all my years of digging, this is the only reverse number that I've ever dug. Also, I've never seen these at a show. This is one of the rarest bullets on the market. $350.00

BU008 M&M 286 - 2-Ring .673 caliber Prussian variant. Out of an old collection. $25.00

BU010 Bulb nosed Gardner. I dug this bullet in Hamilton's Thicket, VA. $9.00
BU011 M&M 178 - CSA .54 caliber Sharps Carbine - Note 4 raised rings. 4-ring Sharps are very, very scarce. I personally recovered this scare sharps 4-ring in Hamilton's Thicket. Comes with a notarized letter of provenance. $85.00

BU015 M&M 183 1858 Sharps Bullet with a HUGE sprue on the base. Out of an old collection. HOLD
BU016 M&M 12 - CSA Country Rifle Bullet, mismolded. These bullets were only used by Confederate troops and were made in a mold which produced many bullets in one pour. The mold had a leaf-spring devise that applied pressure and it is apparent that this mold opened before everything was complete, thus leaving this bullet with the appearance that is it two separate bullets put together which is not the case. This bullet was discarded and never use. I've never recovered another like this one. This came from the Richmond, VA area. $35.00
BU017 M&M 84 - CSA .37 Maynard Carbine $45.00
BU018 M&M 33 - T&T 211 $18.00
BU020 .50 Caliber Maynard Carbine Cartridge, pointed nose. $45.00

BU022 M&M 176 - .58 caliber 1-ring CSA gardner. Tom recovered this bullet in Fredericksburg in the summer of 2005. It is a true 1 ring gardner. Very tough bullet to dig. $28.00
BU025 M&M 138 - .54 caliber Merrill Carbine Bullet $5.00
BU026 .57 CSA nose cast with very pronounced nose sprue. $10.00
BU027 Unlisted .577 cap nose for rifle. Appears to be made in a re-cut mold. Notice the extra grooves where the rings are. Tom personally recovered this bullet in Hamilton's Thicket (Battle of the Wilderness). Appears to be "close" to M&M 383. $15.00
BU028 L2 Base Enfield - I recovered this outside of Richmond, Virginia. This is a scarce L2 base Enfield. You see a lot of Ls and a lot of 2s, but L2 is quite scarce. This has a cap on the nose where the extractor from the machine was connected to it. I have been told by a knowledgeable bullet collector that this bullet was indeed fired, but you couldn't prove it by me. If this was fired, it did not distort by hitting anything after it was fired. You can see for yourself the nice L2. $30.00
BU030 M&M 588 - .565 caliber CSA teat nose - CS mold. $10.00
BU031 Unlisted CS very crude field cast bullet. Notice the mis-casting on the rings. I dug this in Hamilton's Thicket, Virginina and it must have been field cast because the troops had one criteria for shooting a bullet - will it fit in the barrell. Very nice specimen with a nice patina. I don't dig many that are this poorly cast. $10.00
BU032 .70 caliber Tower with iron cup insert. This bullet was dug by one of Tom's digging buddies near Jamestown, Virginia and will come with a notarized letter. It is a .70 caliber Tower bullet with an iron cup insert. It has an overall length of 1.03" and the iron cup is still very stable. Not fragile. Very very scarce. These bullets were probably made in England. $80.00
BU034 Unlisted .35 caliber Picket or Sugar Loaf bullet. Length is .591" and diameter is .356". Unlike anything I have encountered before. Has a very round shoulder but enough flat spot on the base to stand on its own. I have never seen one this round. Outstanding condition with no digger marks. Tom personally dug this bullet in Chancellorsville, VA. $30.00
BU036 .46 CSA Kerr for Sharp's Shooter Rifle. This Kerr was stepped on amny years ago, so it is out of round. Take note - you can still see the "teat" in the base cavity and one side displays very well. Tom dug this Kerr in Iuka, Mississippi. This is priced at half the price of a perfect one but this will still be nice for your collection if you need this rare bullet for your collection. $25.00
BU038 Unlisted CS Nose Cast. Dug by Tom in the Wilderness. $15.00
BU039 M&M 419 - Crude from Selma Arsenal for rifle. .54 caliber CSA Bullet. From an old collection. $25.00
BU041 Enfield = .58 Caliber Iron Cup Based Enfield. D=.578, L=1.08, W=530. This is an iron cup based Enfield bullet. Tom has dug three of these over the past 20 years outside of Yorktown, Virginia. Great shape, base is crisp and tight. $30.00
BU042 Enfield - D=.563 L=1.04 W=544 This has a nose cap and a scarce conical truncated flat tip base. Very nice patina. Tom personally dug this in Hamilton's Thicket, Virginia. $15.00
BU043 Enfield - D=.571 L=1.006 W=528 Very odd nose cast. Mold must have opened before bullet was finished. Mold seams are bulged, wide, and off-center with a huge blob of lead from the base towards the tip. Beautiful white patina. Would make a wonderful addition to any Enfield or Bullet collection. Tom personally dug this in Spotsyvania, Virginia. $20.00
BU046 Enfield - Deep cone cavity. D=.559 L=1.041 W=526 Refined casting, nose sprue, pointed nose pattern. This bullet is flawless. Not a nick, chip or ding on it. Tom personally dug this in Hamilton's Thicket, Virginia. $20.00
BU047 Enfield - D=.51 L=1.09 W=501 Nose cap, bone white patina. .54 Caliber CSA long-model Enfield. This bullet was made at the Macon Arsenal. Listed as T&T 143. This is out of an old collection. Patina is bone white and would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Would be hard to upgrade from this. HOLD
BU049 Enfield - .577 Caliber field cast. D=.571, L=1.118, W=604. This is the only Enfield of this weight I have ever dug. It has a blunt nose and appears to have been cold poured using salvaged lead, perhaps. Pour lines are clearly visible. This is a big Enfield - just check out the weight. Tom personally dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $20.00
BU052 Enfield - .57 Caliber CSA Ellipsoidal Cone. D=.565, L=1.05, W=542. This Enfield appears to be side cast as you can see the mold seam. Another rare base type. Tom personally dug this in Spotsylvania, Virginia. $20.00
BU053 Enfield - Very crude field base cast Enfield. D=.561, L=1.08, W=540. This Enfield has a very small period scratch across the side which I have pictured (click on the thumbnail), was base cast and has lead spillover from the base. Very odd bullet. Tom personally dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $15.00
BU054 Enfield - .57 Caliber. D=.565, L=1.04, W=537. Cone in pin Enfield. Pin hole is approximately 1/4" deep from the base toward the tip and .148 in diameter. Very odd and the only one like this I have ever dug. Nice smooth patina. Tom personally dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $20.00
BU055 Enfield = "57" based .577 caliber Enfield. D=.565, L=1.03, W=498. This Enfield has a beautiful eggshell patina that is flawless. Crisp "57" mark in base. Hard to upgrade from this one. Tom personally dug this is Wilderness, Virginia. $15.00
BU056 Enfield - .577 Caliber Plug Base. D=.566, L=1.03, W=498. Beautiful eggshell colored patina. Nice solid bullet with no nicks or dings. Tom personally dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $7.00
BU057 Enfield - .577 Caliber Cap Nosed, Plug Base. D=.570 L=1.04 W=527. Tom personally dug this in the Wilderness, Virginia. $7.00
BU058 Enfield - Field Cast. D=.551, L=1.01, W=509. Noticable pin line in base. Partially viewable mold seams. I think this is what some refer to as a ".54" cal Forest Enfield. With the odd diameter, I don't know what type of weapon this would have been shot from. Tom personally recovered this bullet in Corinth, Mississippi. $20.00
BU059 Enfield = .577 Caliber "L" based. D=.577, L=1.08, W=509. This one has a very nice waxy smooth patina and a very crisp "L". Tom dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $14.00
BU060 Enfield - .577 Caliber. D=.576, L=0.951, W=458. This a short plug-based Enfield. Appears to be dented. Still has dirt on it. This bullet has what appears to be a small circle or dot impressed into the base. Very odd. Tom personally dug this in the Wilderness, Virginia. $15.00
BU061 Enfield - "L" based Enfield. D=.58, L=1.08, W=521. Tom personally dug this in the Wilderness, Virginia. $12.00
BU063 Enfield - .577 Caliber. D=.572, L=1.096, W=591. This bullet is a crude field cast with noticable mold seams. Tom personally dug this many years ago in the Wilderness, Virginia. $7.00 Hold
BU064 Enfield - .577 Caliber "L" Based Enfield. D=.570 L=1.06 W=509. Perfectly crisp "L" basemark, however this one appears to have been stepped on. Tom personally dug this in the Wilderness, Virginia. $7.00
BU065 Enfield - Crude field cast. D=.570 L=1.02 W=517. Notice the crude mold seams appears mold was opening as the seams are wide. This was a base-cast bullet. Also, look at the appearance of rings in the base rim. This is definitely a CSA bullet. Tom personally dug this in Wilderness, Virginia. $10.00
BU066 Visible Rings pounded flat on all 4 sides. Tom personally recovered on Private Property where Latimer's Battery was off Old York Road, Gettysburg. $20.00
BU067 Enfield - .52 Caliber. Cone Cavity, Tall Pattern, No Grooves. D=.517 L=1.12 W=499 Not sure what weapon this bullet was intended for. Tom personally recovered this bullet in Hamilton's Thicket, Virginia. $30.00
